Both of my older kids have attended Tiny Explorers and our youngest will be going too — I wouldn’t choose anywhere else! The staff are absolutely lovely, the centre is so well resourced, and there are endless activities that keep the kids engaged and happy.

The preschool room (4–5 year olds) is outstanding — the teachers work closely with the local schools on phonics and school readiness, and it really shows. Both of my children have been so excited and well-prepared to start school, which has made the transition such a positive experience.

Tiny Explorers has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and I can’t recommend it highly enough

My husband and I couldn’t be more grateful for Tiny Explorers! My daughter started here at just 7 months old and stayed right through until she graduated preschool at 5 years old. She absolutely thrived during her time here, the teachers were incredible, so nurturing, and always went the extra mile to support her learning and growth. She loved coming every day and made such beautiful memories that will stay with her forever.

Now, my son is following in her footsteps. He began in the baby room at 6 months old and is now 2 ½, and we’ve had the exact same wonderful experience. The transition from baby to toddler has been seamless thanks to the caring, consistent teachers who know the children so well. It really feels like an extended family where every child is valued and celebrated.

On top of being a parent, I’ve also had the privilege of working in the preschool room for the past seven years. From both perspectives, I can confidently say this is an incredible centre that truly puts children at the heart of everything they do. The environment is warm, supportive, and full of opportunities for tamariki to grow, learn, and explore.
We can’t recommend Tiny Explorers highly enough , both of our children have had the most positive, loving, and enriching start to their early years here, and I feel so proud to be part of the team too.

We highly recommend Tiny Explorers. Our son felt quickly integrated into the pre-school community and there was fantastic support from staff. Every morning we were greeted by the smell of baking and cooking made from from the on-site kitchen. There are lots of great events for families and we particularly enjoyed the home-made soups during the Matariki season. This day-care made us feel like we were part of a big family.
