Beautiful and serene environment, perfect for getting away from the city, and reconnect with nature. A 15 minutes ferry ride away from Rawena. The owners are hospitable, gracious and very helpful. The beds and beddings are comfortable. Full kitchen amenities upstairs, washer and dryer onsite also. Family room has a big collection of National Geography magazines, many books, a guitar, and beans bags to gather under a skylight. There's a 20 minutes nature trail right next to the facility. We all like it here alot. Highly recommend.

We stayed a night, one week before Christmas in 2025. Amazingly nice hosts (thanks again, Claire!) who took the time to show us around the area. Our kids enjoyed exploring the green areas and meeting the goats.
Rooms were clean, airy and located in the middle of the trees, so beautiful. Kitchen was the most orderly and nice I've ever seen in a lodge.
Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

The Tree House was clean, comfortable, and easy to relax in. The host was friendly and helpful. I’m happy for having a rest day here on the Aotearoa Bicycle route.
