From the moment I walked into emergency until I left ICU 4 days later I was shown by all staff the utmost genuine care decency and professionalism. Everybody was extremely sensitive, caring and professional. I sincerely thank the whole team you are a wonderful service to community. Thank you Ngā mihi nui !

A & E receptionist is rude. I had a referral from the doctors. Even had my doctor call them to admit me in straight away and coming up 5hrs and I’m still sitting here. Not to mention sitting in the same room with 4 people vomiting. Absolutely disgusting and disturbing. So slow and very frustrating.

From the time my wife arrived at Nelson Hospital she has received the utmost care by doctors, nurses and staff. I could not have asked for her to have had more attention and professional help.
