## Reviews
### null review (5/5)

Hospitals are rarely places we associate with comfort. Yet recently, through time spent at Auckland City, Waikato, and Tauranga Hospitals, I experienced something that deserves genuine gratitude.
Behind the buildings and busy corridors are extraordinary people providing 24/7 care—often under pressure, often without enough thanks.
I spent 24 hours in Tauranga Hospital’s Assessment Planning Unit (APU), following a suspected blood clot and infection. From the moment I arrived—welcomed with a warm smile after ED—I felt safe and cared for. Every nurse and doctor I encountered showed professionalism, kindness, and compassion, despite long shifts and constant demands. The cups of tea in the middle of the night and the meaningful conversations meant more than you know.
To the team at APU—Arnie, Elda, Jancy, Jisa, Georgia—Marc from ED, and all frontline staff: thank you. From the bottom of my heart, Kia ora, merci.

My partner was admitted and ended up requiring surgery. All the staff we encountered were excellent, professional, and friendly. We were kept informed and they made her feel important. Definitely the best public hospital experience we have had in New Zealand.
