I don't know much about the standard of childcare here and I certainly don't want to implicate any of the teachers who probably do a great job BUT the owner is a dishonest business person with no ethics. She is happy to take advantage of kindness and generosity with no regard for how it might affect others.
In 2021 my business undertook work for her, pulling staff back from their Xmas holidays early in order for her to have no disruption to her centres day to day operations. When time came to pay the bill she claimed she had fallen on hard times. I did what few business would do and offered her space to sort out her situation before paying the balance of the account which at that stage was a little over $9700. After 12 months she had only reduced the debt by $3900. Whe I confronted her and asked for the balance to be paid immediately she continued to claim hardship which only resulted in drip fed amounts over the ensuing 3 years, despite me threatening debt recovery measures.  To date, she still owes my company $2822, 4 years after the work was undertaken! She has completely taken advantage of my gesture and clearly proven the sort of person she is. In my view she has no conscience and has no place being in business.
