Choosing Ruru to care for our daughter has been the most amazing decision! She absolutely thrives. The outdoor space is incredible and I know she spends as much time out there as she can with her friends and Kaiako.

Zoe the pig was a massive help for us when it came to drop offs as our daughter naturally struggled leaving us for the first little while but as soon as her Kaiako asked if she wanted to go say good morning to Zoe, she would go off with them happily.

Her main Kaiako Campbell has quickly become her best pal. We feel so lucky to have had him taking care of her. There are so many beautiful kaiako at the center, our daughter has created many special bonds with them.

Having all food provided by Ruru is an amazing bonus as we know our daughter is eating well and its another thing taken off our list for the day.

We adore the journal that Ruru keeps full of stories of what our daughter gets up too. Plus you get sent electonic copies too and will often receive messages with pictures of the days fun.

All in all, we would highly recommend Ruru and have already enrolled our second daughter!

Choosing Ruru House for my daughters has been one of the best decisions I have made as a parent.
My girls have absolutely thrived there, the Kaiako truly love the tamariki and one of the teachers in particular has become like a second mum to both of my girls.
My daughters have played in mud-puddles, painted with dirt, fed the Ruru Kunekune pig last nights leftovers, eaten hearty, healthy and delicious meals daily, learned how to grow fruit and vegetables and so much more.
The environment Ruru House provides for the children to learn is unlike any other daycare centre I have a part of.
From Anna, the owner, to the incredible staff in Te Kopae and Te Koko, I highly recommend anyone considering enrolling their child to make Ruru House the first option.

Ruru House has been such a special place for our family. Our eldest attended for four years and, even now at 7 years old, still talks fondly about his time there and the wonderful memories he made. The care, support, and experiences he had have really stayed with him.

Now our 1-year-old is about to start at Ruru House, and we couldn’t be more excited for him to have the same amazing experiences. We have complete trust in the team and the environment they create. Highly recommend Ruru House to any family looking for a nurturing and memorable early learning experience.
