We have had a wonderful experience with this kindy and have been part of its community for over five years. Our first two children attended here, and our third daughter is currently enrolled, which says a lot about how much trust and confidence we have in this special place. Being privately owned, it offers a truly personal approach, with small ratios that ensure every child is genuinely known and cared for.

The kindy has a warm, homely feel that makes it a lovely environment for both children and families. The teachers are nurturing, attentive, and deeply invested in each child’s wellbeing and development. We have always felt welcomed and supported, and our children have thrived here. We would highly recommend this kindy to any family looking for a caring, close knit early learning environment.

We couldn’t be happier with this kindergarten. Both of my girls say it’s the best place, which truly says it all. They are always excited to go, and as a parent, that means everything.
The environment is supportive and nurturing with an amazing, positive culture. The teachers are caring, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It’s also a wonderful option for working parents, as the longer hours make daily life so much easier. We’re so grateful to have found such a fantastic place for our girls.

We are very happy to be with Pohutukawa! My daughter (2yo) has never been in a daycare or kindy before we enrolled here so I was nervous about how she will cope. But the teachers are very lovely and supportive, the kids are also very friendly sweet towards each other. Just a few weeks of joining and my daughter already tells me about all the hugs and holding hands she gets from Pohutukawa, both from her new friends and teachers! We feel the love and care that they pour to our kid while she's in their care.
