New Shoots Westgate is a really lovely centre with a beautifully designed environment. The overall layout is thoughtful and welcoming, and each classroom has its own unique character and aesthetic, creating inspiring spaces for children to learn and play.

The teachers are incredibly caring and supportive, offering children genuine love and encouragement. The centre follows a play-based approach, where children learn through play, explore their potential, test their possibilities, and develop important social and communication skills in a safe and relaxed environment.

The centre also strongly values diversity. Children are supported to experience and celebrate different cultures through festivals and activities, helping them build an early understanding of the wider world.

Highly recommended to families looking for a warm, inclusive, and inspiring early learning centre.

We’ve recently enrolled our son at New Shoots Westgate and honestly, we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

From the very first conversation with Mel, I felt completely at ease. As a first-time mum searching for care, I had so many thoughts and worries but she made me feel calm, reassured, and supported straight away. She even answered questions I hadn’t thought to ask yet. After organising a tour and meeting Mel in person, we felt such a sense of calm and such a beautiful, welcoming vibe from the entire centre and all the staff.

Our son is in the Ngahuru classroom and he is absolutely thriving. A very special thank you to Lisa, Carissa, and Vivian  you make every drop-off and pick-up such a positive experience. As working parents, you send us off each day feeling confident and reassured. The thoughtful updates and the care you show make every day feel magical, and seeing our son so happy and developing so beautifully confirms we’ve chosen the right place.

Every single person at the centre is kind, warm, and greets you with a genuine smile.

We highly recommend New Shoots Westgate, our son had the best time attending for 4 years. The teachers were attentive and supportive In each class at each stage of development, he thrived in such a positive environment and made great relationships with other children and teachers alike. We couldn’t have picked a better daycare! Thanks so much for everything to the Westgate team.
