Being part of the community for over a year, it has been a great choice for our boys. From the beginning, we felt the environment was well designed for children. The kindy offers a wide range of play and learning opportunities, with spaces that reflect different cultures and encourage curiosity, creativity and independence. The neighbouring playground at Western Park added great value to the children’s daily routine, giving them plenty of time to play outdoors, socialise and make new friends. What stood out the most for us was the teaching team. The teachers are professional, caring and genuinely committed to the children’s wellbeing. Throughout our time there, we always felt supported and well informed, especially during the settling and adaptation process. Our children were happy to attend every day, which for us as parents was one of the most important indicators. They came home with stories, artwork and positive experiences, and they built meaningful friendships during their time at the kindy. Overall, Freemans Bay Kindergarten provided a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where our children felt comfortable, happy and confident. We would certainly recommend it to families looking for a thoughtful and supportive early childhood centre. ### null review (5/5) With my hand on my heart, I would like to share our experience, as both of our children attended this kindergarten for over a year (Nov 2024- Jan 2026). We truly believe that the low ratings shown do not reflect the reality we experienced as a family. Our children, André and Saul, attended this kindergarten with its current team for whom we have only words of gratitude for Anthony, Jane, Nilam, Yasu, Jyoti, and Daniela, for their professionalism and, in our opinion, the wonderful human beings they are. We watched our children grow happy, confident, and motivated in an environment where their individuality is respected and their emotional wellbeing is genuinely cared for. As a family, we feel very fortunate to have found this place and would recommend it with complete confidence. We hope more people can get to know this kindergarten through real experiences rather than isolated comments. For us, it has been an excellent kindergarten and a very valuable chapter in our children’s lives. ### null review (5/5) I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the teachers. One of the most noticeable improvements I’ve seen in my son is his self esteem. I still remember the first few months after he joined the class, it took him some time to adjust. Now, I couldn’t be more grateful to see him gaining confidence and exploring his interests. This wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful support he received at kindergarten. Yesterday was my son’s last day in kindergarten, and we felt both excited and emotional. Thank you for all your support. We will always cherish the beautiful moments from his time there. We believe he will be very excited to continue exploring and learning in primary school. Thank you again.
