Our 18 month old son Teo has been attending Dreamers Nest Montessori since December, so it has been just over a month and a half. As first time parents, sending our child to daycare came with a lot of anxiety and hesitation, but from the very beginning Dreamer’s Nest has exceeded all of our expectations.

The teachers are absolutely exceptional. Their warmth, patience, and genuine care are evident every single day. We can clearly see how much Teo is learning and developing, not just in skills but also in confidence, independence, and emotional security. Watching his growth day by day has been incredibly reassuring and deeply moving for us as parents.

The Montessori environment is calm, respectful, and thoughtfully prepared, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace. It is clear that the educators are deeply passionate about early childhood development and truly value each child as an individual.

We feel incredibly grateful to have found such a loving, nurturing, and professional environment for our son’s very first learning journey. Dreamer’s Nest has given us peace of mind and a strong sense of trust, which means everything to us. We would wholeheartedly recommend Dreamers Nest to any parents seeking a truly special Montessori daycare.

As a mum, I felt at ease the moment we walked into Dreamers Nest Montessori in Orewa.

The teachers are warm, calm, and so respectful, you can tell they know and care for each child. Drop-offs are peaceful, our little one settles in right away, and is excited for her day ahead. All of the children at Dreamers Nest I see incredibly happy, and there is always a sense of calmness in the rooms.

I love the way they foster independence in a gentle, pouring water, packing away, choosing their own work, and we’ve seen that confidence flow through at home too.

The environment is thoughtfully set up at child level with real, purposeful materials and a great outdoor space for curious explorers. Routines like sleep, toileting, and transitions are consistent and patient, and communication with parents is excellent, I always feel informed and included.

There’s a genuine sense of community and aroha here, with te reo Māori naturally woven through the day. Our child comes home happy, calm, and proud. If you’re looking for a centre that truly partners with you and honours who your child is, Dreamers Nest is it. 💛

Four years ago, this preschool felt like a second home to our daughter. Now, we are starting the journey with our son, and it feels like coming back to family! Many of the same wonderful teachers are still here, which is amazing. The teachers in the baby room are super nice and have been so welcoming to our little one during his visits. Their warmth and care are truly exceptional. If you're looking for a trustworthy and nurturing place, look no further!
