I cannot speak highly enough of Best Start West Melton. Two of my children started attending there over six months ago, and their preschool days are consistently highlights of their week.
It is the first time they have attended preschool/kindy and they settled in very quickly. The teachers go above and beyond and are incredibly supportive, proactive, caring and a lot of fun. Even teachers from other rooms make an effort to get to know and interact with our kids when their paths cross.
The environment is welcoming, fun, light, spacious and creative and the outdoor area is very large with so many all-weather play options.
Pick-up time takes awhile because they always want to stay a little big longer!
I highly recommend this centre if you are considering a preschool in West Melton.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at BestStart West Melton! From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt the warmth and care that makes this center feel like a true home away from home.

The teachers are absolutely incredible – full of energy, imagination, and genuine love for what they do. They take the time to truly get to know each child—their likes, dislikes, and unique personalities—and use that knowledge to create a fun, special space where every child feels comfortable, included, and excited to learn. The settling-in process is handled with so much patience and care, making the transition smooth and positive for both kids and parents. It's clear they truly care about each child’s growth and happiness. Our baby is always excited when we get there and our toddler looks forward to going and asks every day if it is a preschool day, which speaks volumes!

A huge shout-out to the amazing Centre Manager, Hetty and Centre Administrator, Rosie, who go above and beyond for every family. Their dedication, communication, and heartfelt care create a strong sense of community and trust. You really feel like part of a big, supportive family.

The transition to school program and before and after school care will also be really handy once our oldest starts school.

We are so grateful to have found a place where our kids are not only learning and growing, but are also loved and valued. Thank you for creating such a special space!

Beautiful centre with lots of indoor and outdoor space. The teachers are so caring and engaging. My two girls love going to preschool here. They have an amazing set for school program which really helped my daughter with school readiness.
