Our 3-year-old daughter attended Atawhai Kids for about one month. As we were staying in New Zealand for a short period from overseas and English is not our first language, we honestly felt some anxiety at first.

Before arriving in New Zealand, we contacted several early childhood centres, but Atawhai Kids stood out for their kindness and warm communication. That gave us the confidence to choose this centre.

Once our daughter started attending, both she and we as parents completely fell in love with Atawhai Kids. The spacious and play-rich indoor and outdoor environments, the freedom for children of different ages to play together or independently at their own pace, and above all, the teachers’ respectful approach toward each child’s comfort, individuality, and independence were truly wonderful.

Despite the differences in language and culture, our daughter quickly felt safe and happy there. She looked forward to going to preschool every single day and was genuinely sad when it was time to leave.

Even for short-term international families like ours, Atawhai Kids provides not only a safe environment but also a truly meaningful and enriching experience for both children and parents.
We are sincerely grateful for the warmth, care, and love shown by all the teachers.

Atawhai Daycare is amazing. The teachers are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the kids. The environment is safe, welcoming, and full of fun learning activities. Communication is great, and it’s clear the team really cares about what they do. Highly recommend to any family looking for a nurturing daycare.

Atawhai Kids is the perfect preschool - supportive and caring teachers, endless activities, plenty of outdoor space and a fun, positive environment. After just our first few visits we knew we'd made the right choice and we could already see changes in our daughter's development and that she was so happy being there. Highly recommend Atawhai Kids!
