Active Explorers truly feels like our second home! From the moment I stepped in for the initial visit, I just knew this was the perfect place for us. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and it instantly felt like the right fit for my little one.

They’ve been incredible at supporting my baby’s growth—teaching everything from building friendships to learning how to clean up after playtime (And he’s only 15 months!!) It’s so reassuring to see him thriving in such a nurturing environment. My little one is definitely a handful—he’s always on the move and keeps everyone on their toes! But the team has been nothing short of amazing. Their patience has been amazing, and they’ve handled his nonstop energy like absolute pros! My child’s favourite time is Messy play, as you can see!

The team and teachers - Absolutely fantastic! Every visit feels like you’re being welcomed by family. They’re warm, attentive, and always take the time to really listen to any thoughts or concerns. Plus, the Center is impressively clean, even when the kiddos have had a blast and left behind their messes!

Honestly, if I could give them 10 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate!

Absolutely rate Active Explorers Upper Hutt! Their whole team - from admin to kitchen to teachers - are all fantastic and lovely, and my daughter loves everyday that she attends!

Really hands on with their teaching but also let the kids get messy and learn things independently! The older kids go on some fun looking excursions too which is cool.

Highly recommend Active Explorers!

Having been apart of their community for 4yrs now, it really has been such a pleasure. The entire staffing team are professional, very approachable and have nurtured our daughter to grow in to who she is today, and who she is yet to become.

There is always something new for the kids to participate in or experience and the centre is always of a high standard.

I thoroughly love getting daily updates regarding what the class have been up to, what excursion they’ve embarked on and what hairstyles wacky hair day brought. The monthly reports outlining my daughter’s learning achievements are superb.

Active Explorers have always encouraged the use of Te Reo and have been so welcoming of our cultures we practice at home.

It takes a village to raise children and I’m so thankful we made the right choice choosing to have Active Explorers as part of ours.
